Google launched Pixel and Pixel xl


नई दिल्लीः लंबे इंतजार के बाद गूगल ने अपने दो नए स्मार्टफोन पिक्सल और पिक्सल XL कल रात लॉन्च कर दिए. इन दोनों ही डिवाइस को ताइवानी कंपनी HTC ने बनाया है. दोनों ही स्मार्टफोन अपनी स्क्रीन साइज को लेकर एक दूसरे से अलग है. पिक्सल में 5 इँच की स्क्रीन दी गई है जिसकी रिजॉल्यूशन 1080p है वहीं पिक्सल XL में QHD के साथ 5.5 इंच की स्क्रीन दी गई है.

HTC के बनाए गए इस फोन का क्रेडिट गूगल खुद ले रही है कंपनी ने इसे “phone by Google” नाम दिया है. दोनों हीन पिक्सल स्मार्टफोन में स्नैपड्रैगन 821 चिप दी गई है.

गूगल के इस बेहतरीन एंड्रॉयड स्मार्टफोन के पांच बेहतरीन फीचर्स के बारे में हम आपको बता रहे हैं.

कैमरा एक्सपीरियंसः पिक्सल और पिक्सल XL के रियर कैमरे को DxOMark टेस्टिंग में 89 अंक से प्रमाणित किया गया है जो अब तक की सबसे ज्यादा कैमरा रेटिंग है. ये बेंचमार्क की रेटिंग से हम ये दावा नहीं कर रहे कि ये बेस्ट है लेकिन ये अंक पिक्सल के कैमरे को खास बताते हैं. f/2.0 अपरचर के साथ इन दोनों स्मार्टफोन में 12.3 मेगापिक्सल का रियर कैमरा दिया गया है. इसकी रिजॉल्यूशन 1.55 माइक्रॉन पिक्सल है.


कंपनी का दावा है कि तस्वीरें कैप्चर करने में ये फोन सभी स्मार्टफोन की तुलना में बेहद फास्ट है. इसका कैप्चर टाइम सबसे कम है. इस फोन में ऑटो इमेज स्टेबलाइजेशन का फीचर नहीं दिया गया है. गूगल के मुताबिक ये दुनिया का सबसे अच्छा कैमरा स्मार्टफोन है.

गूगल असिस्टेंटः पिक्सल पहले ऐसे स्मार्टफोन हैं जो गूगल असिस्टेंट के साथ आते है. गूगल असिस्टेंट के इस्तेमाल के लिए यूजर को होम बजट पर क्लिक करके होल्ड करना होगा या फिर “hot word,” ‘jumps into action’ बोलते ही असिस्टेंट ऑन हो जाएगा. कंपनी ने इसका डेमो करके दिखाया. असिस्टेंट  किसी खास समय , जगह पर ली गई तस्वीर आपको महज कमांड देने पर उपलब्ध करा देगा. इसके अलावा आपके पसंदीदा गानों को आपके पसंदीदा म्यूजिक एप के जरिए प्ले कर देगा. इतना ही नहीं आपके कमांड पर ये आपको रेस्टोरेंट का नाम, उसके रिव्यू, पता सब कुछ की जानकारी देगा. आपकी वॉयस कमांड से ये असिस्टेंट आपकी रेस्टोरेंट बुकिंग भी करा देगा.

अनलिमिटेड क्लाउड स्टोरेजः गूगल अपने कस्टमर्स को इस फोन के साथ अनलिमिटेड क्लाउड स्टोरेज दे रहा है. इसके लिए आपको अपनी फाइल या नी वीडियो को कंप्रेस करने की जरुरत नहीं होगी.

कनेक्टिविटीः पिक्सल फोन्स गूगल के सबसे लेटेस्ट ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम 7.0 नॉगट पर चलता है. कंपनी ने बेहतर कंपीटिशन को समझते हुए अपने फोन में फास्ट चार्जिंग को जगह दी है. कंपनी के मुताबिक ये फोन 15 मिनट में इतना चार्ज हो जाता है कि इसे 7 घंटे तक इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है. गूगल ने 24-hour लाइव फोन सपोर्ट सर्विस शुरु की है. जिससे आपको कभी भी बेहतर टेक सपोर्ट मिल सकेगा.

फोन में 3.5mm ऑडियोजैक, ब्लूटूथ 4.2, यूएसबी टाइप-सी पोर्ट दिया गया है.

स्मार्टफोन में 4GB रैम और क्वालकॉम स्नैपड्रैगन 821 चिपसेट इस्तेमाल किया गया है. फोन में 2770 mAh की बैटरी दी गई है. पिक्सल XL में भी 4GB रैम और क्वालकॉम स्नैपड्रैगन 821 चिपसेट इस्तेमाल किया गया है. पिक्सल XL में 3450 mAh की दमदार बैटरी दी गई है.

भारत में पिक्सल के 32GB वेरिएंट की कीमत 57,000 रुपए रखी गई है, जबकि फोन का 128GB वेरिएंट 66,000 रुपए में मिलेगा. पिक्सल XL के 32GB वेरिएंट की कीमत 67,000 और 128GB वेरिएंट की कीमत 76,000 तय की गई है.

Moto Z and Moto Z Play Launched in India


Moto’s Flagship series the Moto Z and Moto Z play with modular capability have been launched in India. Both the Moto Z and Moto Z play will go on Sale on 17th October on Amazon and Flipkart.  The Moto Z runs a Qualcomm snapdragon 820 with 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM and is only 5.4 mm thin with a 2600 mAh battery. The Moto Z  has been launched for Rs. 39,999 in India and features a 5 MP front facing camera along with front led flash. The 13 MP main camera has OIS and Laser AF.

The Moto Z Play on the other hand is a slightly larger and more affordable handset launched at Rs. 24999 with a massive 45 hour battery life. Snapdragon 625, Adreno 506 along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 Gb storage make up the Z play’s innards. You also get a large 3510 mAh battery. The main camera is a 16 MP, f/2.0 sensor while on the front you get a 5 MP camera with a front flash. The Moto Z play is also made in India and retains the 3.5 mm headphone port, while the Moto Z is too slim to have a headphone port.


The phones come a few weeks after the global launch of the Moto Z series. The Moto Z force with the shatter-shield tech has not been launched in India and remains a US Verizon exclusive. The biggest feature of the Moto Z and Moto Z play is the capability to add mods that simply snap onto the back of the handsets. Mods include the JBL soundboost speaker for Rs 6,999, Moto insta-share projector mod for Rs 19,999, HasselBlad truezoom camera for Rs 19,999 and Incipio offGRID Power Pack Rs 5,999. You can also add shells to the mix including Wood & Ballistic Nylon – Rs 1099 and Leather for Rs 1599.

Google's Pixel, Pixel XL Smartphones Design and Specifications Revealed

With Google's re-branded Pixel lineup ready to be unveiled on October 4, the last batch of leaks were expected to make its way on to the virtual space. Last week we saw a bunch of renders of the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones from the likes of @onleaks and Android Authority, and no we have what seems like an official listing of the device from UK store Carphone Warehouse. Separately, other renders made their way to the Internet, while Canadian carriers Bell and Telus also leaked official renders of the smartphones in both White and Black colour variants.

Carphone Warehouse reveals the Pixel devices in all its glory, along with highlights of major features and specifications. Both the Pixel and Pixel XL renders are shown along with the tagline "Introducing Pixel. Phone by Google" emphasising Google's self-branded line. The renders are pretty much in line with last week's leaks. The home screen shows circular icons with a new UI that is exclusive to the Pixels. The navigation buttons are present on screen leaving a fairly large bezel at the bottom of the phone.

The images form the site also give us a proper look at all the sides of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL with the power and volume control buttons on the right, a headphone jack on the top and a USB Type-C port on the bottom. There also appears two slits on either sides of the USB Type-C port which is likely to be dual speakers. The back of the device features a camera and flash module with noise cancelling holes next to it on the top left corner, a fingerprint sensor in the middle and the 'G' logo at the bottom. The top and bottom of the back will feature a combination of contrasting colours.

Moreover, the website also suggests that Google's latest Allo and Duo applications will come preloaded with the Pixel. Quick charge promises up to 7 hours of battery life in 15 minutes. Another slide reveals that the two devices will offer unlimited storage for photos and videos with Google Photos.

The website also lists full specifications for each device, although you should take them with a pinch of salt as of now. The Pixel is said to feature a 5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Amoled display with a pixel density of 441ppi and Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage.

Meanwhile, the Google Pixel XL is listed with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440x2560 pixels) display sporting a pixel density of 534ppi and Gorilla Glass 4 on top. Other than the size and resolution of the display, the rest of the features are similar to the smaller Pixel. Both the devices also feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front. The Pixel and Pixel XL will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with Pixel Launcher.


On Saturday, some more renders were leaked showing the Pixel smartphone in against a natural background in a variety of colour combinations. Canadian Carrier Bell also revealed renders of the Pixel that provide a clear look of the home screen with the new Pixel Launcher and navigation buttons.

Nokia D1C To Be One Of the Company’s Comeback Android Phones



Nokia has already announced it’s comeback to the market, this time with Android as their main operating platform. A new Nokia phone dubbed the “D1C” has been spotted son benchmark website GeekBench.

According to the information the D1C will use the new mid-tier, octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, with each core clocked at 1.4GHz. This will be backed up with 3GB of RAM, and run Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone is expected to be one of the devices from it’s budget lineup, with the name being a prototyping name.

The budget coming Nokia D1c scored 656 to 667 in single-core performance, while scores for multi-core performance ranged from 3,120 to 3,229


In May Nokia granted HMD Global a 10-year license to produce tablets and smartphones under the brand Nokia which will be manufactured in China by Foxconn. However, Nokia is believed to be working on two flagships for an End of year release which will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, feature 4 to 6GB RAM and upto 256 GB storage. Nokia will also be adding their PureView camera tech to the flagship phones they launch here on out.

The Nokia D1C is expected to be a phone in the Nokia 5310 lineage with the branding ok Nokia 5320, as the name was spotted last month. The Nokia D1C is expected to launch for less than US $ 150 while in India the D1C should be priced around Rs. 8999.

Xiaomi Launches Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus Flagships With Snapdragon 821 SoC

At an event in Beijing event on Tuesday, Xiaomi launched the Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus feature a metal unibody design, with the bigger Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus packing a dual rear camera setup, a strategy adopted by Apple with the latest iPhone models. The new Xiaomi smartphones are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 SoC.

The Xiaomi Mi 5s 3GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,000), while the 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant is priced CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 22,900). The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant on the other hand has been priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 22,900), while the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant has been priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 26,000). Both smartphones will be available in four colour variants - Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and White. Both the Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus will go on sale from Thursday via flash sales on JD.com and Mi.com.

The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a 5.15-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with NTSC 95 percent colour gamut and a brightness of 600 nits. The company claims the display bears 16 ultra-bright LED lights to help further boost brightness. The Mi 5s Plus on the other hand features a 5.7-inch display with the same resolution, but a brightness of 550 nits, and a NTSC 94 percent colour gamut.

The Mi 5s Plus (seen below) bears a dual rear camera setup, with two 13-megapixel sensors - one for colour, and the other for black and white. The Mi 5s on the other hand bears a single 12-megapixel rear camera, with Sony IMX 378 sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. Both smartphones support PDAF autofocus, and both bear a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with 2-micron pixels and an f/2.0 aperture. Other differences between the smartphones include the clock speed of the processor. While the Mi 5s bears a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821 SoC, the Mi 5s Plus bears a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 SoC.


The Mi 5s bears an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on its home button. Placed under glass, the sensor will not get damaged with use, however, Xiaomi claims it offers the same level of accuracy and speed as regular planar fingerprint sensors. The Mi 5s Plus on the other hand has a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Connectivity options on board it include 4G LTE connectivity with 3x carrier aggregation support, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, barometer, and magnetometer.
